  • The Decline of Feudalism by Elaine Figueroa
  • The traders are here!
  • why are there little black specks on me?
  • Three key events contributed to the decline of feudalism, and one of them is the bubonic plauge.
  • how did this happen!
  • The bubonic plauge began with a trade that started in central Asia and ended up in all of Europe in 1547.
  • You have more rights.
  • there are not many people left to farm!
  • The bubonic plauge was spread through flease attached to rats. They were then later on transferred to people.
  • we want more rights!
  • Millions of people died including the rich, poor, young and old because of the bubonic plauge.
  • This contributes to the decline of feudalism because when more rights were granted, serfs were abandoning feudal manors, causing the manor system to weaken and the power from the lords were losing.
  • When there wasn't many people left to farm, commoners gained power by demanding more rights. They maintained this by keeping their demands.
