After Hampton's dad runs off on him and his mom, his mom looks for someone to fill the void his father left, so she moved to Kennisaw and got a job at a dollar store.
After Kennisaw gets beat for the first time in five years by Okalah, Blaine wants to go to Okalah to challenge to one more play, and he wants Hampton to go with him just in case things go bad
