Aphrodite was born from the white foam of Uranus' genitals, after they were thrown into the sea. When she arrived to shore, the Horai (Seasons) took her to Mount Olympus.
When she arrived at Olympus, it says that she wasn’t parentless and that Dione & Zues were her parents.
Who wishes to have this Golden Apple?
I promise if you give me the Golden Apple I will give you a beautiful wife!
Since Aphrodite was a goddess of love and beauty, all men wanted to be with her and all women wished they were her.
Aphrodite's father, Zeus, married her off to an ugly Smith God, Hephaestus. Even though her real lover was Ares.
Aphrodite was a big part of the Trojan War. It started at a ceremony to marry Peleus and Thetis. Even though Eris was not invited, she still showed up with a golden apple that read, "For the Fairest." Paris automatically picked Aphrodite, after she promised him a beautiful wife. His wife happened to be Helen of Troy.
After Helen was kidnapped by Paris, the Trojan War started.
