  • Next up, we will be talking about where your genetic information is stored, how it is structured and encoded, and how it is used!
  • This is DNA. DNA stores all of your genetic information. Its shape is called a double helix. It is made up of nucleotides.
  • This a cell. The big blob in the middle is the nucleus. The nucleus is where the DNA is stored
  • The process of encoding DNA is called protein synthesis.
  • DNA is used to give the instructions for an organism to develop, survive, and reproduce.
