This is Alexander Graham Bell, he is the one who invented the telephone. He was born in 1847, and died in 1922. So, he invented the telephone in 1876, when he was only 29 years old.

Edwin L. Drake was born on March 29, 1819. He was born in Greenville, New York. Drake studied the techniques of drilling salt wells and decided to bore for the oil. He began drilling in 1858. In 1870, after years of poverty, he went back to Pennsylvania a was awarded a pension by the state legislature. But he sadly died later in 1880.

The currents traveled down the wire toward the telephone receiver.The receiver turned the electric currents back into sound waves which traveled to the other person ear.

He in fact solved the problem by driving sections of pipe into the ground until bedrock was struck. And from there, drilling continued until an oil deposit was reached.
