Storyboard Text

  • The first stage of mitosis is Prophase. This is when sister chromatids condense and the chromosomes become visible.
  • The next stage is Metaphase. This is when the chromosomes are aligned across the centre of the cell.
  • After that, the next stage is Anaphase. Which is when the centromere splits apart and the chromatids are pulled to opposite sides of the cell by the spindle fibres.
  • The final Stage is Telophase. In this stage, the two daughter nuclei are formed.
  • Now that one cell has divided into 2, so you wound can heal fully and this process repeats over and over again.
  • And that is Mitosis.
  • That's really cool!
