  • On March 3, 1913, a lot of woman and Alice Paul set up a parade for woman rights that caused violence. Lawyer Inez Milholland led the parade with a white horse.
  • Woman should have the same rights as men!

  • As the parade just began, drunk men started to spit at the marchers and chaos broke out. The police had very little interference.
  • From this day on, the 19th amendment allows woman to vote.
  • *loud cheering*
  • The crowds were doing violent acts and surrounding ambulances.
  • We'll be with you soon.
  • Nurses were marching there way to go support the parade by the U.S. Capitol.
  • Woman have the right to vote!
  • The Suffrage parade caused the law to pass the 19th amendment.
  • More than 100 woman were hospitalized for there injuries. But the woman showed hope and still moved forward with there parade.
