  • I Go To Bristol
  • While the doctor was in London for a physician to take charge of his practice and the squire was hard at work in Bristol, Jim was living at the doctor's house under the charge of Redruth.
  • Perfect!
  • The ship is bought and fitted. She lies at anchor, ready for sea. You never imagined a sweeter schooner-a child might sail her-two hundred tons; name, Hispaniola.
  • He's just like a prisoner!
  • I explored every acre of the land and climbed many times up the hill to see the spy glass.
  • Really Jim?
  • The squire hired him, Long John Silver, who lost a leg in the army and Silver helped him recruit another six crewmen.
  • Old salts?
  • We need six old salts with the most indomitable spirit.
  • The next morning Jim and Redruth travel to Bristol and walk to the port, where Jim enjoys the smell of tar and salt and in all the magnificent ships.
  • Beautiful schooners!
  • What a sight!
