Old Major passed away three days after he gave his speech,so the animals thought it was about time they formed their rebellion. The animals first action was to chase Mr.Jones and his men out of the farm. Now the animals ruled the farm. The commandments were written on a wall for the animals to refer to.
The animals are now growing their own food and they work throughout the week except sundays. The animals satrted reading and writing classes held by the pigs but most are having difficulty reading but can manage a little.A slogan was made and it goes, "Four legs good,Two legs bad" and napoleon had taken the pups for "educational" purposes.
The battle of the cowshed had happened due to the attempt of Jones and his men trying to take back the farm. The battle was led by Snowball and Boxer had kicked a human in the face with iron hooves on.After the battle, the animals decided that they would fire Jone's gun twicw every year.
Snowball introduces the idea of building a windmill and holds a meeting with all the other animals and states what it will be used for and how it will benefit them. Napoleon disagreed and said he thought food production was more important. Napoleon signaled the dogs and they chased Snowball out of the farm.
Squealer convinces the other animalsthat th windmill was originally Napoleon's idea. Now with Snowball gone, Napoleon was in charge. He wanted to continue with the plans for the windmill and put the animals to work.
