Storyboard Text

  • The moonlight softly lights up the midnight sky. A gentle breeze in the air on a warm spring evening. But Dexter couldn't sleep. His mind was elsewhere. He didn’t know why or how come but he could sense that someone was calling him. It had only been 1 month since his grandfather Blaze had passed away but for some reason, he felt that he had never properly said goodbye. Feeling the urge to go an visit him, Dexter gravitated out of his bed, and towards his grandfather’s cemetery. Only block away. There he sat talking to him, “Why is it that you keep calling for me?”
  • With the sun’s rays almost risen, the soul of Dexter is returned. Blaze makes it back to his place in the cemetery with the spell book where it rightfully belonged. Both Dexter and Blaze were relieved that they had saved their family from purgatory and would be able to complete their life both on Earth and in the afterlife without interference from any evil spirits.
  • Blaze could see the soul of Dexter waiting to return to its human body. Dexter’s fingers had started to crystallize with the sun’s rays - a sign that his body was getting ready to face purgatory. With the spell book grasped tightly in his hands, he made a final dash to Dexter.
  • As Blaze returned to the family house, he could hear the soft cars drive passed as everyone was still asleep. Blaze entered the house and suddenly felt the ancient Spell Keeper’s presence. All that was on his mind was the task at hand. He continued up the stairs and into the attic of the house - all while making sure not to wake the other family members.
  • With the moon’s reflection beaming into the attic, the two went into battle. Both knew that they were going to a have a tough battle on their hands, after all, they had been the best of friends during their time on Earth. Spells were cast, hits were taken and the spell book had been hurled across the room too many time for Blaze to keep focused. His frustration started to grow as the battle continued as the moon was starting to fall to make way for the sun.
  • In an instant, Blaze through an intense spell and cast the Spell Keeper across the attic, hitting his head against the window pane, instantly rendering him unable to battle any further. Without hesitation, Blaze banished the Spell Keeper from earth with his ferocious spell.
