Storyboard Text

  • it's getting warm, i can melt the wax and put it in my mens ears so they won't hear the sirens.
  • I carved a massive cake of wax into bits and rolled them in my hands until they softened- no long task, For the burning heat came down from Helios, Lord of high noon.
  • i'll go line up the men!
  • here, put this in your ears, for only i must hear the Sirens.
  • "i carried wax along the line and laid it thick in their ears." Odysseus does this to make sure he is the only one to hear the Sirens.
  • yes master!!
  • keep me tied, even when i scream. DO NOT UNTIE ME!!!!
  • "they tied me up, then, plumb amidships, back to the mast, lashed to the mast, and took themselves again to rowing."
  • " this way, oh turn your bows, Achaea's glory,
  • "As we came smartly within hailing distance, the two Sirens, noting our fast ship off their point, made ready, and they sang."
  • so beautiful
  • " this way, oh turn your bows, Achaea's glory, as all the world allows Moor and be merry. Sweet coupled airs we sing. No lonely seafarer holds clear of entering our green mirror."
  • AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I NEED TO BE SET FREE!!!
  • thank you for untying me
  • my faithful company rested on their oars now, peeling off the wax i laid thick on their ears: then set me free.
  • it feels good to have that wax off.
