  • king Henry VIII was born on 28/6/1491 and was apart of the Catholic Church. he was well known for his 6 wives throughout his life, King Henry VIII desired a wise son to take over his throne one day.

  • King Henry VIII fell in love with a beautiful woman named Catherine in 1509. He instantly married her and wanted a son with her. But king Henry was shocked when his wife gave birth to a baby girl.
  • ill call you Henry FitzRoy!
  • but due conflict with Catherine after her baby girl, he fell deeply in love with a lady called Elizabeth and asked the Catholic priest for an annulment. But because King Henry VIII was apart of the Catholic Church the Catholic priest refused to give the annulment because he thought it was wrong.
  • because king Henry couldn't get the divorce while apart of the Catholic Church, he split from the Catholic Church and created the church of England where it was legalised to divorce someone.
  • after, King Henry VIII divorced many woman until he finally had a son with his beloved Elizabeth in 1519. He continued to remarry, divorce and sometimes behead his wives until his death in 28/1/1547
  • King Henry VIII split from the Catholic Church created the birth of a new religion called Anglican. And grew old with his 4 children in England
