the great plains hunts their food they hunt with bows and arrows. They usually caught deer rabbit and animals like that. some people chase their animals into traps and catch them. They lived permanently by rivers in the 1700s. they found a good source of tamed horses and that allowed they to hunt like that too.
The great plains often used everyday items to decorate like pipes shields and clothes. They decorated these items with feathers and porcupine quills. Another example of this is a winter coat. A winter coat is often used most people paint on them. And men were providers and women took care of the family. Another thing they did was move place to place to follow there buffalo thats why they have teepee as there home so they can pack it up easy.
The great plains has lots of land with sweeping valleys and rolling hills. Also filled with grass and wild flowers and fresh water streams. It can be bitterly cold in the winters and super hot on the summers.
