Good morning class, tonight's assignment is on your family history
Oh no she's going to find out...
We got an assignment today where we have to research our family history.
Do you know where the photo albums are?
Yay! I finally found them. Time to get to work.
Olivia is assigned a family history project at school and is excited to learn all about her ancestors.
OMG I'm adopted! Why have my parents lied to me all my life!! How could they!!
Olivia comes home and tells her parents about her assignment and asks where the photo album is in order to find pictures for her project. Her parents look at her with worry and hesitantly point towards the attic.
How could you keep something like that from me my entire life!? I HATE YOU
I hope she can forgive me for this. She deserves the truth.
Thank you for telling me the truth. I love you guys and I forgive you for not telling me about the adoption.
Olivia makes her way to the attic and finds a stack of old photo albums in the corner. She picks a few books up and carries them down to her room to look at them.
I am sorry for saying I hate you
I understand you were upset and I forgive you for getting angry with me.
As Olivia flips through the pages she notices her birth certificate with different parent's names. She stares at the page feeling confused until she realizes that she must be adopted. Feeling hurt and betrayed she confronts her parents.
Olivia demands the truth from her parents. Her mom and dad look at each other before they speak then her mom begins by telling Olivia that she is not able to have children.
Her mom sits her down and explains the whole story of her adoption. Olivia's mom tells her how lucky they were to adopt her and Olivia begins to feel relieved. They hug and Olivia and her mother forgive one another for the whole situation.
