Max waited until it was dark before he snuck out the back door.
This is so good!
I will find somewhere where I can have my own space for the night.
Max walked down the street.
He kept walking but he started to become scared.
It's very dark outside and there is no one around..?
He wondered if he should go home.
It's very cold and I didn't bring a jumper, it is also dark and scary.
Max was debating whether he should go back home.
But what if Dad is really angry at me, I can't go home!
