  • A Christmas Carol: 
  • Exposition 
  • Person vs. Self Scrooge vs. his hate for Christmas
  • Setting: 1843, London
  • Main Characters: Scrooge, Marley, Ghost of Christmas past, Ghost of Christmas Present, Ghost of Christmas future 
  • Point of view: first person
  • Conflict: Internal; Scrooge is rude and people try to change that
  • Rising Action 1
  • Scrooge and Marley
  • Rising Action 2
  • 
  • Rising Action 3
  • Scrooge meets Marley's ghost and Marley warns him about chains in his after life. He also tells him about the other ghosts that will visit him that night. 
  • Climax
  • The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge back to his childhood to when he got his dislike for Christmas after his mom died and his dad left him at the boarding school alone over the holidays.
  • The Ghost of Christmas Present takes Scrooge to his nephew's house on Christmas. He sees their happiness even when they don't have much and he sees their struggles.
  • The Ghost of Christmas Future shows him his grave and tells him that the future is bairn. He also tells him that if things do not change there will be an empty stop where Tiny Tim sits. Scrooge promises to change.
