Malala Yousafzai was one of few women that that were able to go to school. And, all of them were threatened because she was a girl getting an education. Normally, women do not have an education in her country only men.

On October 9, 2012, Malala was shot in the head by a taliban on her way home from school.

Through all of her trials in October 2014, Malala was the youngest person to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17.
Malala continues to write books today, inspiring young girls to become more than what is expected of them.
