- The Cafe
- Herriot is on his way to do some farm calls then Farnon called him back asking him to pick up his brother Tristan from college in Edinsburg. He was at college taking exams to be a vet.
- get out!
- Herriot picked Tristan up at the caf'e he was a younger version of Farnon very relaxed and easy to talk to. They talked all of the way back to the Sigdale house.
- Farnon began asking Tristan how he did on his exams Tristan started getting nerveous and said he did ok on the one Parositolgy but failed patholigy. Farnon got very angry and yelled at tristan for being lazy and wasting his money to fail college .
- farnon kicked tristan out and said im not paying for school anymore and told him to leave because of his actions and his faliure.
- Herriot was on his way out to his car and looked over and saw a shadow over by the garden then he realized that it was Tristan. Herriot felt embarresed.
- Herriot asked Tristan were he was going to stay. Tristan answered "right here outside by the garden, remember when I said I did ok on parisitology? I did not say I passed, I failed both parisitology and patholigy." Then he said Farnon will forget everything in the morning.
