In Greece, King Pelis and Queen Thetis the sea nymph were getting married under the golden light of a full moon.
King Pelis and Queen Thetis had a beautiful wedding party with magical music, for a moment peace reigned; Pelias and Thetis were in love.
eris the goddess of strife and discord was jealous and angry because she wasn't invited to the wedding. she decided to go anyway, when she appeared the music stopped and everyone looked at the unwanted guess.
she lifted the apple aloft, then with a shrill and piercing laugh she tossed it into the ground. It rolled around, winding its way though the crowd unit it stoped at the three goddesses.
king Pelis picked up the apple and on the bottom it said "to the fairest" and the goddesses said it has to be for one of us. all of the girls told him the reason why he should pick them to have the apple
king Pelis couldn't stand the bickering anymore he said Paris will be the judge on who gets the golden apple... clouds covered the moon and it grew cold.
