Winnie Foster runs through her family's woods and comes upon Jesse Foster laying next to the spring. Winifred is very confused.
After the Tuck's take Winnie to their house and tell her about how they can live forever, Angus Tuck takes her out yo the pond. While they are out there Tuck explains how dangerous the spring really is.
The man in the yellow suit was listening in on Miles, Mae, Jesse, and Winnie's conversation about the Tucks's immortality and he follows them out to the house and steals their horse.
Mae had struck the man in the yellow suit in the head and went to jail. Jesse, Miles, Angus, and Winnie go to the jail to prevent the constable from attempting Mae's execution. Winnie later takes Mae's spot and the Tuck family is free to run.
Jesse had gave Winnie a bottle of water from the spring offering her to drink it at age 17 so they could elope. Winnie later made the decision to pour the water on "her frog" and live her life til death.
Without knowing about Winifred's passing the Tuck's come back to Treegap years later. While they are out for a cup of coffee the server informs them that the tree that held the spring had been struck down and bull-dozed.
