Storyboard Text

  • ACT 1: SCENE 2
  • There were too many of the Green Police on the streets...we had to take the long way around.
  • I told you they were fine.
  • ACT 1: SCENE 3
  • I've always lived alone. I need to adjust myself to others.
  • You'll sleep on that bed, and I sleep on the sofa over there.
  • Are you serious?! They've heard us!
  • ACT 1: SCENE 5
  • PETER!!!
  • Anne!! Are you okay?!?!
  • In this scene, the Frank's and Van Daan's arrive in the attic where they will be staying until it is safe to return to their normal lives. They figure out where everyone will be sleeping, and set down a few ground rules.
  • ACT 2: SCENE 1
  • Dussel arrives, and the Frank's change their sleeping arrangements. Anne shows Dussel where he will be sleeping, and she gets to know him a little more.
  • ACT 2: SCENE 3
  • While everyone was celebrating Hanukkah, they heard a loud noise downstairs. Peter acts quick, trying to turn a light off, and tips his chair over on accident. Anne also faints. Mr. Frank decides to go downstairs to check everything out. When he returns, he tells everyone that a thief broke in.
  • ACT 2: SCENE 4
  • Mr. Van Daan asks Miep to sell Mrs. Van Daan's fur coat. He wants to sell the coat for cigarettes, but Miep informs him that they will be very difficult to get. Later in this scene, Mr. Kraler informs everyone that a man working at the business is wondering where the Frank's are. Later, you also find out that Mr. Kraler is in the hospital.
  • No...please, not my fur coat. You didn't give it to me, my father did!!
  • It must go!
  • Mr. Van Daan has been stealing food from the storage boxes. Mrs. Frank has had enough, and wants Mr. Van Daan to leave. Everyone starts arguing. Later, Miep arrives and informs everyone of D-Day. Everyone is happy and excited, and Mrs. frank eve forgives Mr. Van Daan.
  • Don't accuse me!
  • You've been stealing food!! How could you?!
  • Nobody has heard from Miep in awhile. Nobody has come to work downstairs, even though it was a Friday. Mrs. Van Daan begins loosing it, while Peter and Anne have a peaceful conversation. At the end of the scene, the group has been found, and are told they have five minutes to pack up their clothes before leaving. Because Anne can't bring her diary, she writes to Miep, hoping she will keep it safe. 
  • We must listen and leave now. hurry and pack your clothes.
  • Oh Miep, please keep my diary safe.
