Hermia is a young girl who is in love with a man named Lysander, but she is not allowed to marry him because of her father. So they sneak off into the forest.
Though in the meantime Helen, who has been told about the trip to the forest by Hermia, tells Demetrius the man who is supposed to be Hermia's fiance (and who loves her). Helena does this because she loves Demetrius and wants to get on his good side.
Titania, the fairy queen, has a pageboy who is wanted by Oberon her husband. So Oberon orders puck to makes a love potion so Titania will be too distracted to concentrate on her page boy. Puck also gives the potion to Lysander and Demetrius who both fall in love with Helena.
Mean while some craftsman are preparing a show in secret for Theseus and Hippolyta's wedding, but Puck has got carried away and has changed one man's face into a Donkey's. This is the man who Titania falls in love with.
As soon as Oberon gets the pageboy he releases the love spell on Titania and Lysander, but not on Demetrius as Oberon decides that is fair on Helen. Puck is also ordered to remove the donkey's head
Then the day arrived where Theseus and Hippolyta were getting married, although it was not only them who would be getting married. Theseus overlooked Hermia's dad's decision and let them as well as Lysander and Helena.
