There was a prince in Egypt called Thutmose, he was Pharaoh's favorite son. His brothers always plotted against him.
Thutmose was skilled in all manly exercises. His horses were the fastest in all of the land. He never wanted to participate in Thebes or Pharaoh's court.
One day in Thebes court, Thutmose ran away with two of his servants to hunt at the edge of the desert.
Thutmose left his servants to go on an adventure alone and came upon something interesting.
The ancient Sphinx arose from the sand and started to talk to Thutmose
The Sphinx told Thutmose that he was his father but he was trapped in the sand and the Sphinx told Thutmose that he would be Pharaoh of all the land, and he was. Thutmose honored the Sphinx's command and was the greatest Pharaoh ever.
