This is important because it is the start of Huck's journey. It's the start of a new begining for him and it shows that he is ready to move on.
This is important because it's the first time he has a real converstation with Jim and shows that he is about to start a long and fun journey with Jim.
This is important because it's the first time Huck is going to have to apologize to a black man. It is the start of Huck growing up. He is now agknowedging that African Americans have the same feelings and are people too.
