  • Rising Action/Conflict
  • Daedalus and Icarus were average citizans until they were summoned to The Island of Crete by King Minos to build a maze. 
  • Rising Action
  • While constructing the maze, Daedalus found the Minotar and desperately wants to leave.
  • Climax/Falling Action
  • Daedalus goes to King Minos for permission to leave The Island of Crete and King Minos denies his request. He then tells Daedalus that they were the only people he knew that could build this maze for him.
  • Falling Action/Resolution
  • Daedalus soon came up with a strategy to leave crete where he would make wings and would fly away from crete. He asked the birds for a feather each night and stuck them together with wax.
  • He then had Icarus use the wings to fly away from Crete and proceeded to tell him not to fly too close to the sun. Icarus got too ambitious and arrogant as he started to drift towards the sun and the wax startred to melt.
  • The wings started to disassemble and Icarus went flying into the sea and passed away shortly after.
