Storyboard Text

  • What's wrong?
  • I am in trouble...
  • This, folks, is an example of a hyperbole. His father won't really kill him.
  • Oh, by the way, I am your narrator
  • He also used Euphemism when he said 'cement shoes'.
  • I am most certainly not old!
  • These lovely ladies are using the device of understatement
  • Perhaps, but who is this old guy, and why is he talking to himself?
  • It is just religion. It's not like it affects your lifestyle or anything.
  • Anywho, what I am doing is called an apostrophe.
  • I am talking to you all, whom are nonexistent to the characters.
  • Pfft, a little epidemic won't endanger us.
  • Did you hear about the disease that's going around?
  • Pehaps it is best if we do not tell her... But that was an example of a litote.
  • And that, students, is a play about history...
  • Class?? Where did everyone go?
