Storyboard Text

  • Hi guys! Im here to tell you how to be an upstander when someone is being cyberbullied.
  • Cyberbullying is when someone uses any electronics, especially social media to intimidate, threaten, or demean someone. If you feel uncomfortable or start having negative thoughts because of something that someone online said, that is cyberbullying.
  • If you see cyberbullying, the first step is to immediately screenshot it.
  • Haha yeah - go kill yourself, you suck at everything anyway.
  • Dude, you are so gross! Everyone wishes you just killed yourself.
  • Screenshot Saved
  • Next, you want to report the user - both online, to your parents, and, if you know the person from school, to your principle. Remember to show them the screenshots.
  • Report User
  • Bully #1
  • If you feel comfortable with it, stand up for the victim.
  • Your so dumb I don't even know why you bother coming to school.
  • FYI, I already told the principle, and your parents, but you seriously need to stop.
  • *You're.
  • Remember that anything you do helps -DONT DO NOTHING! PLEASE DO SOMETHING!
  • If you aren't comfortable with standing up for them, try comforting the victim in a private chat.
  • Victim Chat
  • Hey, I saw what (bully #1) said, and I just wanted to tell you that you are an amazing person and that many people love and appreciate you. Don't even consider what they are saying, OK? None of it is true.
  • Thank you so much! I really needed to hear that.
