The judge quickly wrapped up the court case by giving a concise sentencing after he finished stating his criterion for sentencing the accused. The victim of the case, who had won a rather big conviction over the defendant, gave cordial thank yous to all those who helped with the case. The prisoner was taken away to prison, where he would have to contend with having little freedom or comfort for many years.
The case was rather contentious. The accused was very cryptic and defensive when he was called up to be questioned.
To make matters worse, most of the evidence had been corroded by an unknown chemical.
In the end, the accused conceded his guilt and admitted the truth in a conciliatory tone.
