Beforehand the princess was curious to know who was behind which door, the loveliest lady in the kingdom, or a fierce tiger, so she tried to find out by spying on her father placing the lady, and the tiger to their doors.
Then while the princess's lover was on the arena he asked her "which?", knowing that she knew who was in which door. She motioned her hand on the right, because that was the door she thought was best for herself.
After long nights of thought she had decided on which she would answer; she moved her hand to the right. So, which came out of the open door-the lady or the tiger?
Now we may never know which door he opens, it depends on the jealousy, and the selfishness of the princess. Did she want her lover to marry the lady, or die quickly by the sharp teethes of the tiger?
