Storyboard Text

  • Zeus the greek god of sky and thunder who is the ruler of all gods was married to the goddess of cleverness, Metis. Metis at the time was currently pregnant with their first child.
  • Exposition
  • The parents of Metis told Zeus that his first born child would have the equal strength and counsel as him. Zeus was also told he would have a second child that would overcome him and take over his rightful place as ruler of all god & men.
  • Conflict
  • In order to keep his rightful place in the throne, he would have to destroy Metis before their first child was born. He then tricked Metis and swallowed her whole so she would have no way to give birth two the second child trying to take his place.
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • During the battle between the giants and Olympians, Zeus was suffering an unbearable headache.
  • Falling Action
  • Zeus then returned and pleaded to his son Hephaistos to cut his skull open. Hephaestus then proceeded on cutting Zeus’s skull open to find the source of the pain.
  • Resolution
  • After Hephaestus cut Zeus’s skull open, out came Athena fully grown and in her warrior suit. They then realized that Zeus created Athena on his own, by using his mind.
