We should divide Germany into 4 parts and hold free elections
We're going to rig the elections in order to spread communism
We need to set up a blockade to stop supplies from getting into Berlin
The Yalta conference is held and it is decided that Germany would be divided into 4 pieces and split among the U.S., France, Britain, and the Soviet Union. It was also decided that free elections would be held in Europe
The U.S. will agree to protect any nation that is fighting against communism
The U.S. will provide supplies to suffering European countries in order to increase our reputation
Stalin broke his promise at the Yalta conference by not holding the free elections. Stalin rigged the Soviet elections in order to spread Communism
Anyone in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization agrees to protect each other in the event that communists attack
Stalin sent out troops the block off any roads leading into Berlin, so that part of Berlin would be unable to get supplies
We need to form the Warsaw alliance of all the Communist governments to combat NATO

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was a group of the U.S., Canada, and several other European countries. The group was an alliance were if anyone in the group was attacked, the other members of NATO would help them fight
In order to combat the NATO alliance, Stalin created his own alliance of communist governments known as the Warsaw pact
