Storyboard Text

  • This is a great place to practice
  • Yeah, we'll use this clearing to practice
  • There are a few things that won't work. Pyramus has to kill himself with a sword, and the ladies can't handle that
  • Wait, I've got an idea! At the beginning, we can say we are just pretending and nothing is real
  • You're right. I think we'll have to leave out the killing
  • That's a good idea
  • Won't the ladies be scared of the lion?
  • We'll have another prologue saying he's just pretending to be a lion
  • Ok, but how are we going to get moonlight?
  • Will the moon be shining the night of our play?
  • Quick, look in the calendar, look up moonshine!
  • (Takes out book)It will shine
  • Then we will leave one of the windows open so the moon can shine in
  • Ok, but there's another problem.
  • What?!
  • We'll have someone act out the wall's part. He can make a V shape with his fingers that they talk through.
  • Pyramus and Thisbe talk to eachother through a little hole in the wall
  • Let's practice!
  • Bottom was turned into a donkey, and when Titania woke...
  • (Wakes up) What angel is this?! Who is this sweet human!?
  •  Fairies, serve and bow to him, and follow him around
  • Cobweb, mustardseed, peaseblossom
  • What are your names?
  • I'd like to get to know all of you better
