Storyboard Text

  • The day of the trial, the entire town showed up,  Jim, Scout, and Dill.
  • The kids sat in the balcony with their friend, the minister, to watch Aticus defend Tom.
  • Sheriff Tate testified first.
  • Umm... no. Didn't even think about it.
  • Did you take her to a Doctor?
  • Mr. Ewell ran to find me, and I helped him revive his daughter.
  • Robert Ewell shared his testimony next.  He was very rude, but he said that he agreed with what the sheriff had said. However, some of his explanations were not clear, or contradicted themselves.
  • That ****** attacked my daughter! I chased him down the lane.
  • Mayella testified. Some parts of her testimony also contradicted itself, and her father's testimony.
  • He attacked me! My father stayed to make sure I was okay.
  • Last, Tom Robinson provided his testimony.
  • I got past her as gently as I could, and ran because her father was coming. He was very angry, and was yelling at her. He did not run after me.
  • She told me she needed help to fix the door, but When I came into the house, she closed it and kissed me.
  • I felt sorry for her, so I try to help her out when she needs it.
