Storyboard Text

  • I’m in the process of photosynthesis.
  • the equation is 6Co2 + light energy =C6H12O6+6O2.
  • photosynthesis happens in the chloroplasts.  When it takes in water and carbon dioxide, then it makes oxygen and glucose.
  • both carry energy called atp.
  • light dependent. Cholorphyll absorbs energy from the sun light
  • Light independent. Carbon dioxide enters the plant through tiny pores called stomata.
  • HI’m Dan, I breathe in oxygen and out goes carbon dioxide, this is called cellular respiration
  • the equation is 6o2+c6H12O6=6Co2+6H2o
  • oxygen and glucose are coming into the mitochondria as a chemical reaction happens which creates carbon dioxide, water and ATP.
  • in my cells at the moment inside the mitochondria, a chemical reaction is happening to make energy.
  • cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondria.
  • photosynthesis and cellular respiration are related because they both help things live by making energy and food so they dont die.
