Dante and Virgil see three boys hanging on a cliff as they are leaving the 4th circle of hell. These boys are looking for "treasure" which explains why they are in the 4th circle of hell.
Dante and Virgil left the 4th circle of hell and come upon the a marsh called, Styx. The people here are fighting with each other immersed in the mud.
Dante and Virgil leave from the marsh continuing their journey out of hell. Virgil tells Dante that those people are in hell and are overwhelmed by anger.
"Son, thou now beholdest. The souls of those whom anger overcame."
At the end of canto 7 Dante and Virgil come across a tower. This is a watch tower, in which demons are inside.
