  • 1754-1763
  • Why hello fellow humans, we need some help! The British are trying to take our land. We are both trying to build great empires.
  • I have faith that we can defeat them!
  • Of course we can help! We have plenty of tools and supplies, but the British have a much larger colonial population than us combined and are basically invisble.
  • They've been trying to gain sole control of the fur trade, fishing rights off Newfoundland, and expansion of the West of our lands. That is what this whole war is about. If we work with you, we can keep it all!
  • About 7 years later, the British won the war, but weren't able to use the land to the West of the Appalachian Mountains. The French were given control of all the lands to the east, and all the colonists that lived on the west had to move.
  • King and Parliament
  • I was told by the King to set up a series of taxes to be collected from the colonies to pay off the debt. First the Townshend Act, then the Stamp Act. I hope this works!
  • This war has left us in debt! What are we to do now??
  • They collected the taxes, but ended up using the money for something else. They were still in debt and didn't know what to do.
