  • Juliet Rose
  • The reason for the plague to be nicknamed the Black Death is because one of the symptoms it gave their victims was blue and black blotches on their skin.
  • We want higher rights!
  • The Bubonic Plague was caused by fleas who carried bacteria and fed on blood infected rodents whom then fed on humans, leaving the disease on the humans.
  • Unfortunately the fleas spread to millions of people causing about an estimated amount of 24 million deaths during the Fourteenth Century.
  • On the other hand, it was also a time where peasants demanded for a higher social rank after the deaths of the ones who were affected by the plague.
