  • Women in the War
  • Native Americans in the War
  • Africans in the War
  • Would spy, fundraise, and follow camps. Some would provide food and clothing to the troops, while others would fight, dressed as men.
  • Foreign  Born Heros of the  Revolution
  • If it wasn't for the French, you'd all be speaking  English!
  • Native Americans sided with both the  Patriots and the British in the Revolutionary War. Some stayed neutral, however.
  • Espionage / Intelligence Gathering
  • African slaves sided with both sides, based on who they thought could give them their freedom.
  • Weapons and Military
  • Aid from several other countries was essential to the revolution. Many other countries supplied both military and financial help.
  • Many spies gathered intelligence from the British using methods such as invisible ink, masked letters, and codes and ciphers.
  • Many different weapons and tactics were used in the  Revolutionary War. Each soldier was given a gun, a uniform, and other necessary equipment.
