This is not a game anymore, people have been hurt.
When I talk about discipline, I'm talking about power... I'm talking about success.. is there anyone here who isn't interested in power and success?

Laurie is a top A student, very intelligent, strong willed and a natural leader. She is best friends with Amy Smith and dating the schools popular football player David Collins. She shows the readers that no matter how tough the situation is, doing the right thing isn't always the popular thing to do and you should stand up for what is right even if it comes with consequences first before it gets better.
Ben Ross is the history teacher at Gordon High, and his wife is the music teacher. He is a very likeable teacher, has emotion, as well as a determined husband, co worker and teacher. He shows how easy it is to get caught in your own experiment and that sooner rather then later things get worse before they get better, he knows he will hurt students but he also knows the right thing to do is to stop before something gets too carried away.
Robert is the class 'loser', he didn't have many friends and didn't participate much during class. He starts off as an outcast, very shy and single-minded. He shows to people that he can come out of his shell, even if you are different. But he shows it in a way that rather than him coming out, people weren't letting him in until the experiment, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover before you see whats truely hiding.
