  • I have never been on a train before.
  • The soldiers are on every corner. It is World War 2. Annemarie, Ellen, and Kristi are running home from school, and they get stopped by a German soldier.
  • Climax
  • The Germans are going after the Jews, and Ellen is a Jew. Kristi is very confused for what is happening. Mrs. Johansen had to tell the girls what was happening about World War 2.
  • Falling Action
  • Bye!
  • Ellen, Annemarie, and Mrs. Johansen are on a train ride to go to Uncle Henriks house to hide Ellen from the Jews. Uncle Henriks lives in the country.
  • Resolution
  • I know Ellen will come back.
  • Most the Jews go to Uncle Henriks house and hide there so they can take a boat over to Sweden to be free from the German Soldiers and so they will not be killed by the Germans.
  • All the Jews will hide in here until I can take them over to Sweeden.
  • Uncle Henrik and the Jews are heading over to Sweden. Annemarie were very sad to say by to eachother. Annemarie kept Ellen's Jewish necklace.
  • Annemarie is very sad that Ellen left, but she is happy that she is safe. Annemarie is sure that Ellen will come back from Sweeden, so she can give back her necklace. Annemarie now weres Ellens necklace to keep safe, and to remember Ellen. The War ended so she can come back.
