This storyboard does not have a description.
Traveling by water was easier than traveling by land. The ancient greeks were never far from water.
Most people in ancient Greece farmed, and raised animals. But they settled on mountains, therefore farmers built wide earth steps into the hills to create a more flat space to plant.
The Greek communities increased, therefore they decided to make colonies. The Greeks established colonies over a period of more than 300 years, from 1000 to 650 B.C.E.
Many Greek settlements on the mainland relayed on trading with others, to get needed goods.
