  • Militarism. Militarism caused an arms race, with large amounts of weapons, along with leaders willing to use them..
  • Alliances. Alliances caused small conflicts between two nations, to escalate into a large conflict between 20.
  • Imperialism. Imperialism caused other nations to try and invade each other to gain land, money, and other resources.
  • Nationalism. Nationalism caused pride in each nations army, making them seem superior to everyone
  • America is superior!
  • The assassination of Franz Ferdinand was the spark that ignited the fuel of all of the other factors
