The villagers don't know about the ghost until late one night when a childs body is found in the woods with no mark left from where she died...
We will hunt for it!!
This story begins on a dark, stormy night when a girl walking through the woods was attacked by a mysterious ghost who was thought to have been the ghost of Elisa Mcknutt, a church bell ringer, who died in 1908 while ringing the bell. She died with it stuck on her hand.
In a lonely town in Heartfordshire, the wind rattled the window panes and screamed down the chimney. The residents were safely tucked up inside their houses. But just around the corner, a ghost was nearly ready for her dinner...
On Thursday, a huge protest gathering commenced in the town square. Something had to be done about this mysterious ghost. The prime minister decided to have a troupe that went searching for the ghost with torches.
The next night, a brave troupe of family and friends went out hunting, with only torches for light. They were determined to find this creature of death. The prime minister led the way.
But they were surprised at what they saw. There, in a clearing in the middle of the woods, lay the girl that had been killed. But she wasn't dead. She was reading a book with a torchlight.
The whole 'ghost' thing was all made up. In fact the girl was walking back from the shops and she fell asleep! Everyone sighed with relief as everyone started asking questions to the little girl. They were safe.
