This book was about a girl named Lara Jean who had crushes so intense that she had to write them down. She put the letters into a box and didn't tell any of them, she was too afraid of what their reactions would be. One day these letters were mailed out and Laura Jean is in for a big surprise with these boys.
To All The Boys I've Loved Before
OH MY GOSHHHH!!
Lara Jean!! A letter!
What will camp look like? What if we're both at camp but at different spots and then we go home thinking the other person never came!
The scene I'm creating is about Kenny Donati. In the book they never talked about him so my scene is going to be what would have happened if he had received the letter.
(1) Hey! It's been forever! What's up?
(2) Well, as you know, someone sent the letters out. I should let you know that I don't feel that way anymore, I mean it was a while ago and-
Kitty sees an envelope that looks very similar to the ones Lara Jean wrote so she gives it to her. When Lara opens it she is in awe as she stares at a letter signed Kenny from camp. In this almost impossible handwriting that she remembered so well, it said to meet up at camp. I had no idea what to do, I mean of course I wanted to talk to him but those feelings that I expressed in the letter were years ago, I obviously didn't like him like that anymore, I mean what if he did? It would be terrible and awkward, but I knew I had to go.
I had already assumed that you did't still feel the things you wrote in the letter, I just thought that it would be nice to catch up with an old friend from camp. I was just thinking back and I used to have so much fun here! I actually became a camp counselor.
Wow that's amazing!
Lara Jean is on her way to camp and has so many different questions running through her mind. What does he look like now? Will I even be able to recognize him? She looked at all the trees blurring past her, they brought back so many memories of driving to and from camp. She pulled into the dirt road leading up to camp, the one that they could never find when she first started. She could feel her heart pounding like she had ran the whole way here, if she didn't like him, why was she so nervous?
Well it's getting late and as much as I hate to say it, you should probably head back home.
Yeah but I'm so glad we talked and we should definitely do it again!
Lara Jean walked into camp and immediately saw him. She was really nervous, it felt like she was meeting him for the first time. I mean I guess she kind of was because they haven't seen each other in years. He said hi and she told him She was explaining the letter to him when he cut her off.
They were having long conversations about all the hilarious things they did in camp and how they should have kept in touch. Lara Jean caught him up on everything that's been happening at school and with her sister and he did the same. The time really got away from them and the next thing they knew, they were walking around camp in the pitch black.
Lara and Kenny finished off an amazing night and she was actually glad that his letter got sent put because she made another friend!
