Hi my name is Miss. Emma. Today Mia, Evan, and I will be exploring Mount Everest and its beautiful features.
Right now it is very cold but we are still going to start and hike and find a cave inside the mountain.
In January (the coldest month), the average mountain temperature is -33 degrees fahrenheit and they can drop as low as -76 degrees fahrenheit.
Right now we are in a cave inside the mountain.
There are 8 types of rocks that make up Mount Everest. they are limestone, marble, shale, pelite , granite, pegmatite, gneiss, and metamorphic.
Currently we are at the top of Mount Everest, which is 29,035 feet in the air. I don't know about you but I am a little scared of heights.
This is Anastasya. She is a Sherpa, which is a tribe of Tibetan. We met her on our way down the mountain.
There are 45,000 Sherpas that live on the mountain. The religion that they study is Buddhism. In 2014, 16 Sherpa guides were killed by a massive avalanche.
Thank you for taking a trip with us all around the mountain. I hope you had fun, I know we sure did. See you next time on our next adventure.
