  • The Stamp Act was a law that put taxes on paper and packages to help England gain money and pay for troops houses.
  • People were getting taxed when the goverment didn't have a say in Parliament
  • "No taxation without Representation"
  • Colonists were mad because they changed the taxing.Sam Adams his self helped start the Sons of Liberty and he protested the acts and burned the effigies.
  • From what we have heard ,the protest and the boycotts,we decided to repeal the stamp act. Taking of the taxes of paper that are being sold or printed
  • The Quartering Act was a law where they made the colonists pay for the soldiers houses during the French and Indian War.
  • The Townshend Act was a law where they put taxes on England's imported goods such as glass,tea, and paper
