Beowulf Ends Grendel:
" My Lord Higlac Might think less of me, if I hid behind some board linden shield..."
" This trip to Herot Hall was a miserable journey!"
Grendel's Mother Comes and Ends:
She was stronger than her son, she was strengthen by her revenge.
Beowulf and his warriors from Geatland travel to the land of the Danes, to help kill the monster, Grendel.
Beowulf Brings Back Treasure:
King Hrothgar I have brought you Grendel's head.
Beowulf meets Grendel when the monster had attacked Heorot Hall, in a hand on hand battle. That battle resulted in Beowulf tearing off Grendel's arm, injuring the monster to a death point.
Beowulf's Last Fight:
" Now our Lord must lean on younger arms..."
Wanting revenge on her son's death, the water witch attacked King Hrothgar's close friend. The King called upon Beowulf for help, he then finds the lair of the mother and beheads her with a special sword forged by giants.
Light in the Darkness:
After Beowulf's battle with Grendel's mother, he brings back the hilt of the sword and the head of Grendel.
King Beowulf hears about a dragon causing problems in Geatland, so he and eleven of his warriors go to the dragon's cave. In the end Beowulf is severely injured and all his men leave, except Wiglaf. The only warrior that stayed to help ended up killing the dragon for Beowulf.
Once Beowulf dies his people built a tower to remember and give his light to the darkness. They burned his body and built a barrow on the site.
