This storyboard does not have a description.
Tamaki makaurau , is the maori name for Auckland. long ago, this place was lived by 2 tribes of the faires.
however, the two tribes didnt get along with each other. So they decided to live seperately. one iwi lived in the forest of south Auckland, while the other iwi lived in the west of Auckland.
the boys of the iwis enjoy brining a token home everyday, however one boy Hui, the son of Waitakere, didnt find anything and dissapeared for a whole day. The next day, he came back to the iwi with a young woman saying that she was his love and the "token".
The boys token was actually the chiefs daughter of the of the other iwi. angry and in rage the father set out to find his beloved daughter.
The chief found his daughter with the other iwi and was enraged. wanting war with the other iwi. however, the other iwi knew about this and cast a spell to attack instead. the spell worked but the spell awakened the god of earthquakes because they were using spells without permission.
The god was angry that they used spells and made the earth crack, grow mountains, and many more. that is how the Auckland today was created and why it is called the place desired by lovers.
