Storyboard Text

  • A theme in this story is to never give up. Rainsford fought to the end to win the game and he never lost his nerve. Throughout the story he was very brave and strong to survive.
  • I must not lose my nerve, I must not lose my nerve! I will win this game!
  • Rainsford's and General Zaroff's ideas compared and contrasted.
  • A rare kind of animal? Doesn't he hunt normal animals like me?
  • I'm a hunter. I hunt very many animals in the Amazon.
  • Yes I've read your books! I'm the most skilled hunter I know. I hunt a rare kind of animal that you have never hunted.
  • Regular animals are boring, humans are more fun.
  • 1st important scene from the story is when Rainsford's fell off the ship and ended up on the island. He went to go seek help.
  • Where there are pistol shots, there are men. Where there are men, there is food.
  • 2nd important scene is when Rainsford was hiding in the tree and the general smiled while turning back.
  • Why had the general smiled? Does he know I'm here?
  • 3rd important scene is when Ivan was stabbed by a knife from Rainsford's trap so Rainsford could escape from him and the dogs.
  • My trap worked! I need to run away from here soon! Maybe I'll jump in the water and swim to his castle.
  • 4th scene is when General Zaroff finds Rainsford in his castle and congratulates him on winning the game. Later, Rainsford kills the general.
  • I have won the most dangerous game. I have defeated the evil General Zaroff.
