Storyboard Text

  • Restaurant Analogy
  • Cytoskeleton - gives support and structure to plant and animal cells.
  • Cell Membrane - protects the cells by selectively letting specific substances pass through.
  • Once upon a time there was a very unique restaurant. It was split into 2 sides; one was the vegetarian side, and the other was people who eat meat.
  • Microtubule - adds support (for both plant and animal cells) and helps to move organelles.
  • The walls of the restaurant were made of cytoskeleton.
  • Cell Wall - 3 different layers in plant cells that provide strength and support while also protecting cells.
  • As I tried to enter, the cell membrane  gave permission to those allowed to enter.
  • Golgi Body - It takes macromolecules (lipids, proteins, etc.) and processes and packages them.
  • Once I entered, the microtubule moved me to my table and everyone else to theirs.
  • I decided to sit on the plant side underneath the cell wall where I was protected from my environment.
  • It was very busy so there were many other golgi bodies around me that needed to be served too. I ordered my food and waited.
